Choose to think right thoughts on purpose

Today God God wants you to know that you have to choose to think RIGHT THOUGHTS on purpose. Your thoughts matter. You can either think negatively about yourself or you can think positively.

Yes, we have been given a sound mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16 NIV). But our old thought patterns don’t just conform to God’s word, without us enforcing our minds to think in the direction of the Holy Spirit. In Romans 12:2 NIV it says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will”.

In Isaiah 26:3 NIV it says, “You will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you”.

How do I reprogram my mind to think God’s thoughts? We have to feed our mind with the word of God. I have to actively confess who I am. If I say I am what my emotions say, then I am not in tune with the Holy Spirit.

I am letting my mind control me and not my spirit man. How do we know when the mind has overtaken the spirit man?

When we start speaking like we are under and not over. When we start thinking and speaking defeat instead of victory.

When we start magnifying our challenges and not the size of our God, then we know that we have stepped out of our new man and into our old man. We need to immediately step back into our right standing in Christ Jesus and identify with who God says we are.

We have to be careful about what we say, for the mouth speaks what the heart is full of (Luke 6:45 NIV).

If you are constantly saying that you are full of pain. You are actually agreeing with that feeling instead of your righteous identity in Christ. CHOOSE WISELY. We have to say- “Thank you Jesus that you have redeemed me from pain 2000 years ago”. “Praise God,I am pain free”.

By doing that, you are actually activating faith that already resides on the inside of you.

The words that come out of your mouth will always show you what you have been meditating on.

If you are focused on the flesh, it is hard to see the promise. Our minds become clouded by what we see and not what we believe.

Our belief systems are running based on what we are feeding them at all times.

We are either feeding our faith or we are feeding our fear by the thoughts we think and the words we say.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17 NIV).

What voice are you listening to? The Lies of the enemy or the truth of the Holy Spirit.

In Proverbs 23:7 AMP it says, “As a man thinks in His heart so is He”.

Our old thoughts can only be replaced with new thoughts when we start confessing what the word of God says. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13 NIV).

OUR VICTORY IS ALWAYS STANDING FIRM IN OUR POSITIONING IN CHRIST JESUS. HOW DO WE FIND OUR STANDING? BY KNOWING WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS.

If you keep proclaiming the word of God over that specific NEGATIVE belief, then the power of the spoken word will supernaturally eradicate the negative belief and replace it with the truth. In Hebrews 4:12 it says, “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires”.

IT IS ONLY THE WORD OF GOD THAT CAN CHANGE A BELIEF.

It doesn’t just happen, we have to make the word of God happen in our lives. We have to mutter the word and see it and know that the word is truth. That’s how change happens.

No word, no change. How can we expect to see a harvest without planting a seed? Sending your child to school is a seed that you sow to further their education. Without that seed of sending your child to school, they cannot become who God called them to be.

ARE YOU GETTING ME TODAY?

A garden does not just grow without people planting seed. What seeds do you keep planting?

SEED TIME AND HARVEST IS A PRINCIPLE OF THE WORD OF GOD.

In Galatians 6:7 NIV it says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap”. We want to see a different harvest, we need to sow a different seed right? If we want to be more positive, then we need to feed on the good things and not the bad things.

WHAT ARE YOU FEEDING ON?

It is the power of the word of God that changes things. If you can’t stop complaining, then go feed on the word of God to get the complaint out of you. The word of God will cleanse you from that complaining spirit.

If we want to spend more time with God, then we have to sow the seed of clearing our busy schedule for Him. There is no such thing as my life is just too busy for God.

Then I have to ask you- where are your priorities? If you know that everything comes from God, then your excuse of BUSYNESS will come to an end. You will find a way to make time to grow in your relationship with God.

You will begin to pursue God above all things.

In Matthew 6:33 NIV it says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you”.

IT IS WHEN WE LOOK TO JESUS- THINGS BEGIN TO CHANGE IN OUR LIVES.

Pray this prayer today:

“Father God, I ask that you help me to let go of the distractions. Help me to focus on the victory you have already given me. Help me to stay committed to the process of reading the word and fixing my eyes on Jesus. I thank you Lord that your promises are YES and AMEN. I choose to believe your word and walk in faith all the days of my life. In Jesus name Amen”.

If you have not made Jesus your Lord and Savior I encourage you to say this prayer today:

“Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. I receive your forgiveness. I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. I declare I am washed by the blood of Jesus and I am now born again. I am a child of God. In Jesus name Amen”.

God is looking for your time

We need to reawaken the dream that God has laid in our hearts. A God dream dies when we are not spending time in His presence. I reawaken my God dream by getting back into the posture of prayer.

We cannot let a God dream go dormant on the inside. We need to keep it alive by reminding ourselves about the things God has for us. He always fulfills His promises.

We need to go deeper with God in this season. We need to move from ankle-deep waters to full-body immersion in the things of God.

Some of you only have a baby toe in the water; you need to put both feet in and decide to want more of what God has for you. You need to get into the river. Fresh living waters begin to flow when we pray in the spirit.

We have to pray like never before.

What promise is buried in your heart that you need to bring back to life again?

We need to be ready for fresh encounters in this season. Fresh moments of pure grace. Where God’s presence fills the room and then everything changes.

A God encounter is what we need to pray for in this season.

A fresh God encounter reignites the vision.

Change needs to happen on the inside, before we see it manifest on the outside. How we spend our time matters. When we spend time in the presence of Jesus, He speaks to us, He shows us what to do. We discern the ways of God by spending time with Him. Reading the word is how God speaks to me.

You only truly get to know someone when you spend time with them. The more time we spend with Jesus, the more we get to know His ways. Time in God’s presence changes everything. In Jeremiah 29:13 NIV it says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart”.

We need to make room for God to move and that requires us to be disciplined in how we spend our time.

Are we spending more time watching television than in God’s presence? Are we spending more time watching reels on social media than reading the word? Are we having a moment of STILLNESS to listen to the small still voice of the Holy Spirit? Some of us are crying out for more, but what does your level of consecration look like?

What does your level of commitment to prayer look like? What does your level of obedience and sacrifice look like?

God meets us at the level of our COMMITMENT to Him.

We have to commit. We either have one foot in or both feet in. We can’t do this Christian walk by the way. We are Christians on a Sunday, but during the week we have no real relationship with God. Let’s get our priorities in alignment. Let’s check our heart motives.

The real question you need to ask yourself is –

HOW DO I NEED TO RESTRUCTURE MY TIME SO THAT I CAN SPEND MORE TIME IN GOD’S PRESENCE?

Today, take a moment of self –reflection and determine where you are with God. It is time to take your walk with Jesus to the next level. The higher you want to go in your walk with Jesus, the more you need to sacrifice.

TIME STEALERS ARE THE ENEMIES TACTICS TO GET YOU OUT OF GOD’S PRESENCE.

Let’s recognize that we have to get back into God’s presence and spend time in prayer again. Nothing can change when we are holding back from doing what God requires us to do.

One encounter changes everything. One moment in the presence of God shifts our perspective. We should never take for granted the small things the Holy Spirit shares with us. We cherish every word. We submit to God’s will for our lives. We surrender completely and allow Jesus to have His way.

A God-sized vision in your heart requires spending TIME in the things of God.

We have to get our priorities in alignment with the assignment God has given us.

You cannot expect to walk in the spirit without prayer. You cannot expect to go the next level without getting into the presence of God.

If you are not willing to put in the TIME then you are going to stay the same and nothing will change.

Most of us today need to make RECOMMITMENTS to God. We are too caught up with things of the flesh.

Maybe your dream is to be a mother, a wife, a husband, a school teacher, a Pastor, an Evangelist, a professional athlete. Whatever it is- YOU NEED TO REVIVE THE GOD DREAM ON THE INSIDE.

Our dreams should not be dormant. We need to reawaken the GOD SIZE DREAM AGAIN.

Any vision that God puts in our heart must be kept in remembrance. Some of you need to go back to the start and ask yourself-

What did God tell me that I need to rekindle in my heart?

The reverential fear of God motivates us to get into His presence. To spend time with Him. We have to recognize that we are nothing without Jesus. COMPLETELY SURRENDERED TO HIM.

Let’s pray this prayer today Psalm 25:4-5

“Make me to know your ways O Lord, teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my Salvation, for you I wait all day long”.

If you have not made Jesus your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to pray this prayer today:

“Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. I receive your forgiveness. I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. I declare I am washed by the blood of Jesus, and I am now born again. I am a child of God. In Jesus name Amen”.

Don’t sweat it

Today God is asking us to position ourselves in rest. We cannot be anxious when we fix our eyes on Jesus. In Isaiah 26:3 NLT- “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”‘

When our thoughts are fixed on Jesus we can remain at peace. The key is to let go of self-effort and sweat not. In Philippians 4:6-7 NIV, Jesus instructs us to be anxious for nothing. This is not a choice, it is a command.

But the only way we can be free from anxiety is by positioning ourselves in the finished work. When we pray with thanksgiving, it activates grace in our hearts. We don’t have to earn peace, we have peace already.

PEACE COMES WHEN WE ACTIVELY THANK JESUS FOR WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE.

At the cross, Jesus redeemed us from stress. He sweated great drops of blood for us. You need to think on that today.

Do you believe that Jesus wore the crown of thorns on His head for you to be free from mental turmoil?

The answer should be a resounding yes. Jesus paid the full price. We have to reposition ourselves in Christ Jesus to stay in peace.

You have to decide to talk your way into peace: You have to say:

I have a sound mind of Christ.

I have the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.

I am loved by Jesus.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

I am dependent on the grace of God.

It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. I die to self daily.

When we stress, we are reliant on our own efforts. When we stay at peace, we are dependent on the Holy Spirit. It is very hard to hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit when we are anxious. We need to get out of our heads and into our hearts.

We need to meditate on scripture to find our peace. The word does the work. Not your efforts, the word of God. When we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of Jesus, we are actually humbling ourselves under His word. We are saying His word is Sovereign.

Choose to talk your way into peace. Fill your mouth with the word of God. Thank Him for the peace, grace and blessings that you already have in Christ.

PRAY THIS PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive your peace today. I receive your love. I declare I am the redeemed of the Lord. I thank you, Jesus that my heart is at peace today. You are in control. In Jesus name Amen.

If you have not made Jesus your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to pray this prayer today:

“Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. I receive your forgiveness. I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. I declare I am washed by the blood of Jesus and I am now born again. I am a child of God.

In Jesus name Amen”.

What looks like a setback will be your comback

God has put a comeback spirit on the inside of you. We need to arise in this hour like never before. We cannot play silent Christianity. We need to be bold and courageous as God commands in Joshua 1:9 NIV- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. We need to take the word of God and do the word of God.

We need to start activating our faith muscles like never before. You cannot take new territory for God when you are not walking in faith. In Hebrews 11:1 NIV, it says- Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen. What does your faith photo look like in this season? We all need to ask Jesus to give us a faith photo. The faith photo always aligns with God’s vision for our lives.

We need to open our spiritual eyes to see what Jesus is showing us.

In Proverbs 29:18 KJV it says- Where there is no vision, the people perish.

Today God is calling us TO ALIGN TO SIGHT VISION. Our sight vision needs to align with God’s vision for our lives. Abraham saw the stars and that was a picture of Him becoming a Father of many Nations. My question for you is-

What do you see? Do you see the natural photo of your life or God’s photo for your life? If you are single, do you see yourself married? If you want children, do you see yourself with children? What we see is important. We need to go beyond our natural sight barrier and see through the supernatural lens of faith.

Some of you need to put on new glasses and see things from a different perspective. We need to stop getting caught up in what we see and feel in the natural and start tapping into the supernatural dimension of faith. In this realm anything is possible, because our belief is solely in the finished work of Jesus. We do not conform to this world, we only conform to the word of God.

DARE TO BELIEVE GOD FOR BIG THINGS. DARE TO GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL IN YOUR FAITH.

We are spirit beings. We need to stop thinking like we are in the natural dimension and start operating in the supernatural dimension. There are two things that we need- prayer and confessing the word of God.

We need to take the limitations off God and the only way we can do that is by walking in faith. Faith calls those things that be not as though they are. Faith as small as a mustard seed can move a mountain. But your faith cannot be in the natural, it needs to be in the supernatural. I cannot trust God for healing and my faith is in the medication. My faith is in Jesus and medication is a byproduct to help me in the interim. But I don’t put my faith in the tablet. My faith is in prayer and the word of God. I take the medication while believing that Jesus is supernaturally healing me. You never put your faith in natural substances that are fallen. We put our faith in Jesus, who is Jehovah Rapha. Jesus is the only real source for all things. When Jesus touches the leper, the leper is made clean. Whatever we need is found in Him. I am asking you today to put your faith in Jesus again.

Get your eyes off the natural and go back to that place of real faith, where it all began. When we first got saved Jesus was our everything and we relied on Him for all things.

LET’S HAVE A FRESH BEGINNING TODAY BY PUTTING OUR FAITH IN HIM.

Get your heart in alignment with the word of God. As you meditate on the word of God, faith arises on the inside.

IT IS TIME TO TAKE BIG STEPS OF FAITH AND MOVE FORWARD BY THE UNCTIONS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

You are about to have a lazarus moment

God said to me that we are about to have Lazarus moments. What is a Lazarus moment?

In John 11:38-44, Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead

38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said.

“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”

40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.

Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

This is your season to step into all things new. To step into the assignment God has for you. What has set you back for years will now be your comeback. I hear the Lord saying- I am going to restore the years the locusts have stolen. In Joel 2:25 NIV it says, “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten- the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm—my great army that I sent among you. I hear the Lord saying there are massive miraculous encounters on the way for the body of Christ. We are about to see REVIVAL in every area of our lives.

Your setbacks will only be stepping stones into the new thing God has for you. The miraculous will take place in our lives this season. We are going to experience VERY BIG CHANGES. This is not a small thing it is a big thing. A season of all things new is heading our way. In Isaiah 43:19 NIV it says- See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

When Lazarus stepped out of the grave he was made new again. He didn’t have any trace of sickness; he was whole and healed. When we step into the next season God has for us, we are stepping into the fullness of the blessing. We are moving from dry lands to wet lands. We are stepping into a season of joy overflowing, a season of excitement and surprises, a season of favor and miracles. Miracles are going to happen all around us this season.

People will say- How did this happen?

You will say- God’s hand on my life. He did what no man can do. In God’s economy, miracles are normal. He turns water into wine. He raises the dead back to life, He parts the red sea.

OUR GOD IS A MIRACLE WORKER.

WE SERVE A GOD OF THE MIRACULOUS.

The area the enemy thought he took you out for good, you are going to soar in. You are about to walk into that breakthrough,

You are coming out of your grave in this season I declare it. You are about to be launched into your destiny. You are about to see the goodness of God in your life. What the enemy used for evil, God will use for your good. (Romans 8:28 NIV).

Nothing can stop God’s hand in your life this season. NOTHING.

It is time to take off your grave clothes. All those heavy burdens are lifted today. All the chains that held you back, lifted. Today you are moving forward into the new season God has for you. Today is the moment where you decide-

I AM STEPPING OUT. I AM GOING INTO MY BREAKTHROUGH. I AM A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST. I AM MORE THAN ABLE. I AM EXPECTANT.

God is saying that your trial will not hold you back, your sickness will not lead to death, your financial situation is about to turnaround.  Now God’s glory will be made manifest through every setback you went through. Some of you have fallen asleep but Jesus is coming to wake you up spiritually. He is waking you up today. I hear the Lord saying- WAKE UP. Jesus is about to quicken things in your life.

He is going to shake you to go and do great exploits for Him. It doesn’t matter how many days you have been in that dry place. It doesn’t matter how long you have been sitting in that tomb. It is time to come out. It is time to come out. It is time to come out.

You are going to see the glory of God in your life this year.

I hear the Lord saying- Lazarus come out. Lazarus come out. Lazarus come out. Put your name in that sentence and come out from your hiding place. It is time to step into the next thing God has for you.

It is time for you to come out of the tomb and into the land of living again. You need to take off the grave clothes and put on the garments of praise. Your greatest season is ahead of you.
